About Us
REIKE ,a Kenyan Holding Company, is the result of a lasting partnership between the Cavalum Group and Pedro Villas-Boas. They are both Portuguese entities connected to the energy area for a long time, with an engineering background and a particular interest in the energy sector.
In short, the REIKE sponsors have decades of experience in developing and operating hydro, wind, and pv solar electric plants.
- More than 50 units / 400MW developed in the 3 main renewable sources (hydro, wind and solar pv).
- More than 35 units in operation running simultaneously in Portugal, Spain, and France.
In 2017, the partners have invested in a Kenyan company in order to develop renewable power projects in Kenya, with a special focus on hydroelectric projects.
Development
Project Development includes all the steps, from the identification of the site until the start of the construction. This path means going through many phases of collaboration with the national entities responsible for granting the different licenses for renewable power plant.
Reike’s sponsors have a long and strong experience in developing renewable electric plants in diverse regions across the three continents.
